The draft Transportation Infrastructure Master Plan Update is an important guiding document that ensures the appropriate infrastructure is in place to support the continued growth of our thriving city and outstanding quality of life.
PROJECT BACKGROUND
The City of Tracy’s Engineering Division has completed updates of six of its seven Infrastructure Master Plans. Our infrastructure includes all the services and facilities that keep the City functioning, like buildings, power, and telecommunications. Infrastructure Master Plans identify current and future needs, guide the City as it grows, ensure appropriate infrastructure is in place to handle increasing needs, and help residents gauge how it is performing. The Infrastructure Master Plans are necessary to support the City’s General Plan and implement the City Council’s Strategic Priorities.
