Regular City Council Meetings are held at 7:00pm on the first and third Tuesdays of each month. Special Meetings are scheduled on an as-needed basis by the City Council. Meetings are held at the Council Chambers at City Hall, 333 Civic Center Plaza, Tracy, CA 95376.

Regular Meeting agendas are published at least 72 hours in advance of the meeting. Special Meeting agendas are published at least 24 hours in advance of the meeting.

Public Comment

Members of the public may participate in Council Meetings in-person and remotely. Public comment may be submitted via the following methods:

Email: To provide a written comment for inclusion in the record, email PublicComment@CityOfTracy.org. Include the agenda item title in the subject line for comments to be provided to Council before the meeting begins (comments will not be read aloud).

In Person: Meetings are open to the public in Council Chambers at Tracy City Hall, 333 Civic Center Plaza, Tracy, CA 95376. 

Remote: To provide remote public comments during the Council Meeting, log into the meeting via Webex at CityOfTracyEvents.webex.com . Refer to the Council Meeting agenda for more detailed information about participating in the meeting online or by phone.

The City of Tracy complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act and makes all reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities to participate in Council Meetings. Persons requiring assistance or auxiliary aids should call City Hall at (209) 831-6000 at least 24 hours prior to the meeting.

Notice Regarding Challenge of City Council Actions

A 90 day limit is set by law for filing challenges in the Superior Court to certain City administrative decisions and orders when those decisions or orders require: (1) a hearing by law, (2) the receipt of evidence, and (3) the exercise of discretion. The 90 day limit begins on the date the decision is final (Code of Civil Procedure Section 1094.6). Further, if you challenge a City Council action in court, you may be limited, by California law, including but not limited to Government Code Section 65009, to raising only those issues you or someone else raised during the public hearing, or raised in written correspondence delivered to the City Council prior to or at the public hearing.
