Summer Internship Program
What can you expect from a Summer Internship at the City of Tracy?
This program aims to give high school students who live in or attend school in the City of Tracy the chance to engage with our workforce culture, which emphasizes creativity, critical thinking, and collaborative communication. The primary goal is to offer local youth valuable, paid work experience through this summer internship program, supporting and fostering the growth of emerging talent in our community.
The City of Tracy is excited to kick off it's fourth year in support of local youth workforce development. This year's program will provide 25 paid summer jobs to youth who live or attend high school in Tracy.
- Students will participate in six weeks of work experience by contributing to various departments at the City of Tracy.
- Students will work up to 20 hours per week in City departments and be paid bi-weekly.
- The program will provide valuable work experience for young people interested in learning more about their local government.
