The Volunteer Community Clean-Up Program began in 2025.  The Solid Waste and Recycling Division strives to coordinate efforts between various volunteer organizations, nonprofits, and City staff in efforts to establish a program to reduce debris that would otherwise impact the image and beauty of City streetscapes and parks. This program provides an opportunity for residents to engage with others in the community and contribute to a more beautiful and welcoming Tracy. 

We strongly encourage participants to register up to a week prior to the events.  Though registration is not required, the purpose of registering for the event will allow staff to be able to better determine the number of supplies to provide such as bags, gloves, trash pickers, etc. to participants.  Registration also allows staff to identify a cleanup area closer to the event date, and that location will be emailed to registered participants.

2026 Community Volunteer Clean-Up Event Dates

Saturday, March 28, 2026 (starting at 8:00 AM) - register by March 20th

Saturday, June 13, 2026 - register by June 5th

Saturday, September 26, 2026 - register by September 18th

To register for the event, please click on and complete the registration form and the appropriate waiver. Once the forms are completed, they can be emailed to CleanTracy@cityoftracy.org; hand delivered or mailed to Boyd Service Center - 520 Tracy Blvd, Tracy; or faxed to (209) 831-4472.
