Effective January 1, 2026, the 2025 California Building Codes will go into effect. All new submittals received as of January 1, 2026, will be required to meet the 2025 California Code

 In a continuing effort to improve customer service and streamline the permitting process, the eTRAKiT online permit program allows contractors to apply for and obtain certain types of residential building permits online without leaving their office. Examples of permits available online include the following.  

Plumbing

• Sewer Line Repair or Replacement 
• Water Heater Replacement
• Water Softener  

Mechanical 

• HVAC 
• HVAC with Duct Work

Electrical

• Temp Power Pole

Building

• Reroof
