The following list includes trees that are approved to install as a city street tree on your residential property. These trees have been selected and approved by the City as they are known to grow well in Tracy's climate and soil conditions. When purchasing a tree, it is a good idea to ask advice from at the nursery as well. Advise them as to the amount of water that the tree will get from other landscaping that is in the area (for example, a lawn). Advise them also if you would like a fast growing or slow growing tree.
