In addition to the 1% property tax under Proposition 13, there may be additional taxes based on the value of the property. These are generally school construction bonds which have been approved by voters to additions to the standard property tax. In Tracy there have been previously approved bonds for Tracy schools as well as for Delta Community College facilities.

The County Assessor can advise a person as to any special school bonds that are applied to a property tax. Please know the property’s Assessor Parcel Number (APN) before contacting the County Assessor. Do not contact the City of Tracy for this information.
